The Stewardship Team is excited to share our 2026 Capital Campaign, “Growing the Garden of Grace!” Over the last few years our ministries have been flourishing, and we have been using our building for many wonderful things! As our Grace ministries continue to grow, we want to keep up this momentum by addressing a major building concern – our AC units. We all know how brutal our summers can be! Without functioning Air Conditioning our fantastic ministries come to a grinding halt! It simply is not safe to have our GICC kids in class, our NOCC children upstairs, our Grace kiddos in the cry room, our adults in Bible Study, or anyone in our building when our AC units stop working.
In the past couple years our AC units have struggled to keep up, stopped working entirely, leaked through the walls, flooded the stairwell and classrooms, and caused many a member to spend worship fanning themselves because of the heat. It is time to replace these failing AC units, so our ministries continue to flourish! We want the garden of Grace to grow!
We plan to replace four of our eight AC units. The units that cool the Fellowship Hall, the GICC classrooms, the back of the Sanctuary and cry room, and the upstairs room where the NOCC offices are. We estimate that this will cost us approximately $112,000.00. We know this is a lot of money. We also know that we need these AC units so we can continue the good work to which God calls us! We will be breaking down the costs by priority of need, assessing which units should be replaced first.
Please join us by giving to our Capital Campaign Fund during the season of Easter. We’ll officially kick off the Campaign on Sunday, March 29th when we share Palm Sunday and culminate on Sunday, May 24th when we celebrate Pentecost. You can write checks to Grace Lutheran Church and include “Capital Campaign” in the memo line or give online by clicking the button below. We look forward to sharing more stories about the impact of our ministries during Easter Season!
Thank you for supporting our ministries, thank you for giving, thank you for growing the garden of Grace!
