By the grace of God, Pastor Katie joyfully accepted the call to serve as our Redevelopment Pastor! She began her ministry at Grace on January 9, 2023.
Pastor Katie was born in Toledo, Ohio and raised in Strongsville, a suburb of Cleveland. She attended the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago. She has a deep love of scripture and one of the things she enjoys most about preaching is the opportunity to show how the stories of the Bible are alive and connect with our lives today. She noted that "Any opportunity to nurture our faith and apply the teachings of scripture to our call to live in the world is a gift from God, whether it is Bible Study with our adults, youth, or kids. I believe strongly that God is alive and at work all around us and is calling us into service and love of our neighbors."
