Hazel Mae Cernich Gundorf passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 8, 2026, at the age of 103, surrounded by her loving family.
Prior to Katrina, Hazel was a very active member of Grace Lutheran Church and Immanuel Lutheran Church.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit Greenwood Funeral Home, 5200 Canal Blvd., New Orleans, LA 70124, on Thursday, January 15, 2026, starting at 11:00 AM. A Lutheran Service will follow the visitation at 1:00 PM. The burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
