In October 2026, the Grace Social Ministry Team will be collecting items for the Harry Tompson Center in New Orleans. It provides a calm and caring environment in which to serve the needs of unhoused individuals in New Orleans.
The staff and volunteers are dedicated to improving the quality of life for all those who come to us in need, not only by responding to physical needs, but also by attending to the whole person with respect and compassion.
They serve more than 200 individuals per day, and strive to meet their guests’ basic needs through four pillars of service: hygiene, health, hospitality, and housing.
We ask that you bring toiletries and other items throughout the month of October.
Note: If you are able to use your health insurance OTC benefit to purchase toiletries but don't need them for yourself, this is a great opportunity to pass those benefits on!
